Handoff currently features an experimental feature that allows you to publish your project’s pages as website. The feature is not yet complete and only meant for testing.

Features

For every page on your site, you can set meta titles and descriptions. This optimises your site for search engines. You also set Open Graph info, which is used for generating previews on sites like Twitter, LinkedIn and apps like Slack.

Other features include:

• SSL certificate
• Minification of HTML, CSS
• Auto compression of images

Limitations

Since the feature is currently in Alpha status, publishing your site is subject to a number of limitations:

• Your site can only be published to a Netlify subdomain. Custom domains currently not yet supported, but this will be one of the first features we’ll implement once we move out of Alpha.
